Help a Fisher Out
After centuries of persecution and government extermination campaigns, the carnivores of New Jersey are still subjected to many threats such as habitat loss, road mortality, poaching, and illegal poisoning. The New Jersey Fisher Experience is dedicated to conserving carnivores such as fishers, bobcats, black bears, foxes, and coyotes throughout the Garden State. By evaluating wildlife road crossings and assessing their populations, The New Jersey Fisher Experience aims to help carnivores coexist peacefully with humans.
